quick question about chests... - Guild Wars Forums

i have always thought that chests could give random loot .
but yesterday someone told me that if 1 drop is purple, the rest if it is purple.. "purple chest" or "gold chest"...

can someone confirm this? or is it random ?

yes its "purple" chest or "gold" chest. the first item out will tell you all.

haha acting like you don't have keys then waiting for someone else to open the chest first is fun =)

only keys i bother to buy anymore or hold on to are: Phantom (UW and ToPK), Obsidian Keys (FoW) and Darkstone (Fire Isle chests)

During SF and PVE TOMBS runs i noticed since the first day it came out i said "grape" for a purple chest it has'nt died cause i joined a group and when it was purple 4 other people typed "grape" made me laugh it's still being used.

But ya whatever the first drop it, that's the chest.
